Dogwood Valley opened in 1965 and is still owned by the Southard Family. We
offer nightly and seasonal camping, ranging from primitive to full hook-up
spots from May 1 to October 15; on-site trailer rentals; daytime passes for
picnicking and swimming; weekend entertainment and Sunday morning worship.
Open House Mothers' Day Weekend.
On-site facilities include hot showers, clean modern restrooms, video games,
a general store for ice, firewood, groceries, snacks, supplies, and
souvenirs. The Shelter House on the lake is a great place for small family
outings, large family reunions, or any size company picnic or class reunion.
Our six acre spring fed lake is the perfect place to spend the day swimming,
boating, and fishing. Enjoy the lovely white sand beach while relaxing,
reading, playing volley ball, and spending time with your family and
friends.

Look for this Sign on St. Rt.61. 2 mi. N of Mt. Gilead at Township Road 99
No " Wood " may be brought into Dogwood Valley from Quarantine Counties. Morrow County wood is welcome. However, all incoming firewood will be inspected at the park office.
